Odd Socks Productions – Words Apart (Subtitled)

http://youtu.be/FCOSzMuRCM0

Performed in 2009 by the young theatre company Odd Socks Productions, “Words Apart” was unique in the sense that it combined both New Zealand Sign Language and spoken English without the use of interpreters. Based on Romeo and Juliet, it depicted the clash of cultures between deaf and hearing, and was a powerful theatrical work.
